Greenland is a sprawling mass of misconceptions. Though covered in snow and ice for most of the year, the Greenland summer is stunningly beautiful. But to document this beauty with human filmmakers would be both expensive and cliché.
The Musk Ox Cam™ uses the powers of science and nature to give the world a unique view of Greenland's natural beauty. This simple device would be harmlessly mounted to the hard, bony plate where the horns meet the skull.
Musk oxen, equipped with gyroscopically mounted HD cameras with data relay and solar panel technology, would be followed electronically in natural habitats across Greenland.
These video feeds would be displayed at MUSKOXCAM.COM, where visitors can select which musk ox to follow using an interactive map of the nation.
Snapshots will be automatically added to the Greenland Tourism facebook page, pinterest board, and flickr account. Users can choose to take credit for the shot on facebook, or share the image on any social media network they desire.
